Mommy Update
Lots has been happening with Mommy and her Cancer in the last couple months so we've been offline for a while....In January Mommy had her single mastectomy where they removed 2.6 pounds of cancer and 5 of the 6 lymph nodes that contained cancer. So a lot of cancer gone - yay!!! Then, in Febrruary Mommy started developing migraine headaches and MRI revealed her two cancer spots on her Brain had come back, so she needed to start radiation right away. Mommy just completed her 14 treatments - go Mommy!!! Mommy will have more followup tests in a few months to make sure the radiation treatments worked, but for the last few days she has felt AWESOME!

WAY TO GO MOMMY!! She is such an amazing woman, you guys are so lucky to have such a wondeful mommy!!
I couldn't be more proud of your mommy!! We love her!! She is such a strong woman!! Lot's of love..... the Koelker's!!
For some reason, yesterday I felt led to check out the Iowa threads on IFVC. I was caught totally off guard by your recent health issues. Glad to hear that God is working miracles in you, and I'll be praying that the healing continues.
(and I can't even remember which thread it was that we 'met' on. I guess that's what turning 50 does to you!)
