1st play in the snow

Iowa is hitting a record snowfall this year! As of 2/19/08 we had received a total of 59.1" which currently the record high is at 62.4" in the winter of 1959-1960. And they're saying more snow is on the way, so I am sure we'll probably break it this year. Anyhoo, I decided to stay home the day we got 15 inches. So late in the day we went outside!!! It was their first time in boots and snowpants and all the gear. I was EXHAUSTED by the time I got them all ready...then, I had to get myself bundled too. Oh mi! But they had a blast! They loved the snow. The boys dove right in face first. They kept trying to eat the snow. As they were eating the snow, they'd bite off their gloves. I'd have to run over and put them back on them. As you can see I had to shovel them a path out of the garage. Daddy got home shortly after we went out. You can see, he couldn't even get in the driveway with the car! (Ava in the white, Connor in the blue and Skyler in the yellow)
