FLOODING in Iowa - update

It was just one month ago this week that the Cedar River was nearly 20 feet above flood stage and covered 1,300 city blocks of Cedar Rapids.

July 5 - Great Grandma Betty's Birthday Celebration

The family met at Bever Park for lunch and a look at the zoo.

Happy 4th of July!!!

The babies did surprisingly well with the fireworks. Brian and I took the boys (and the 5th wheel) to our friend Geri's house and celebrated with them then spent the night. Dee had Ava for an overnight. All in all, no tears. Victory!!! (Skyler in blue shirt, Connor in red).

These babies love the water and they're not afraid of it one bit. Which makes Mommy a little worried! They are constantly trying to dunk themselves under water. Here with the watertable and even if we take them swimming at Grandma and Grandpa's house. They even did it when we took them to the dells. Little stinkers! Great Aunt Dee, good gift with the watertable!

Crafts

The babies loved playing with the play dough. The tricky part, making them stay at the table.

The Rathjens, a couple from our church family sent the babies a bday gift we could all enjoy. Cookies for all are praise messgages. Thanks Pat and Rich! They also sent these balls for the babies to play with. How did you know they loved balls so much?!?!

More gifts...

Our sitters Rachel and Megan stopped by to deliver gifts to the babies. How sweet! They got them the cutest little polo shirts and shorts and Ava got a plaid dress. They're so cute on them! Thanks girls!

Happy 2nd Birthday

June 24, 2006 the triplets turned 2 years old! We tried to keep it small again by just inviting family. We had such a good time and the babies loved all their gifts. Thank you all for coming and celebrating with us!

It's been a while again...

Sorry it's been a while, but lots has been goin on here in Iowa with all the flooding! Wow, we are witness to history in the making! It's so sad to drive downtown and see all that trash...It looks like a hurricane or tornado went through. And the SMELL! Augh! Although our family was not affected at home, both Brian and I have been affected at work. I have been relocated and working from a place called PATEC in Hiawatha and Brian has been working like 7 - 10 hour days. It's CRAZY!
