Vocabulary increasing
In the last 3 days the babies' vocabulary has really increased and they've become so much more verbal. They are actually chatty. It is so cute having them verbally communicate with you. And another new thing, they will come up to you and just give you a kiss, without you asking them to. It's the sweetest thing! It's fun to see the 3 of them interact with eachother. This past week when they were sick, they'd get eachother their blanket and bring it to them. Or bring eachother their sippy cups. They can be the sweetest to one another one second and bite eachother the next. The personality can change in a split second. (Kind of like Mommy's, haha!) So you have to be watching them at ALL TIMES!
Caught in the Act
Skyler was put on the potty cause he was going....good little man! Although, I still don't think my boys are ready to start with potty training - we did save one diaper, haha! The babies are 21 months old but in reality, since they were born 11 weeks early, they're only like a little over 18 months old.
Family visits
Aunt Donna, Aunt Dee and Cousins Kristina and Steven came out last Sunday to visit. It was so great seeing everyone! It has been too long. Dee and the kids brought down some toys and a train set and some coats for Ava (that were Kristinas). Oh my gosh they are so adorable - a black fur, a black leather....Wow, this girl is going to be high fashion!
Daddy's new truck!
INJURIES!
So it was pretty nice last Sunday and Aunt Dee and Cousins Steven and Kristina came to visit us. So we decided to take a walk over to the elementry school to play. They absolutely LOVED the slide....it was so cute to see how excited they were and to hear them laugh and giggle. And them it happened. 2/3 were injuried! I had been saying how lucky we've been with the kids...Skyler and Ava fell as they were climbing up the steps. Ava got a fat top lip and Skyler somehow scratched his face. Both were bleeding! I was like, okay, okay, back in the wagon, we're outta here before Connor gets hurt too!!!
Activity Time!
Gotta keep them entertained! In the second picture I am handing them stickers and they're putting them in the coloring books. It was so cute to see them try and figure out how to get them off their fingers and into the books. The simpliest things are the cutest. The innocence of children. So precious.
Finally a nice day....
Thank goodness - we are getting cabin fever! I took the babies outside the other night. They did pretty good, then they became curious and started running toward the street. So it was time to go back inside. Too hard to track them all running 3 different directions at once! When all the snow melts we'll be able to get into the backyard (which is all fenced in!) I thought the last picture was cute. Ava touching the tree. Brian planted that for me when I was diaganosed with breast cancer. It is supposed to bloom pink flowers. I can't wait to see it!
Easter Baskets from St.Marks!!!
Thank you St. Mark's for the wonderful Easter Baskets!!! They were full of all kinds of goodies - coloring books, balls, stuffed bunnies, candy, stickers and bubbles. Oh my gosh, seeing their expressions and watching them jump and try and catch the bubbles was PRICELESS! Oh my gosh, it was the cutest, most precious thing I have ever seen!
Family Auxiliary Meeting
Daddy is a volunteer fire fighter for our community. Mommy is involved with the volunteer fire department's family auxiliary and helped organize the start up 2 years ago. A friend of mine, Amie, who lives in the town next to us asked if we could expain to her and her friend Tami how the auxiliary worked because they were interested in starting one for their fire department. So Alisa and I met with them and we had the meeting at my house. I told them they could bring their kids along and they could all play while we discussed. So i had 8 kids playing in the house that night! They all had so much fun and got along together soooo good!
Eating dinner
Visit to Grandma and Grandpa Sells
New table and games
Mommy and Daddy got the babies a little table with chairs. They LOVE IT! It's so nice too, because they can eat their snacks there, color in coloring books, play games, etc. right at the table. We also got them some new puzzles and the game "Ants in Pants" which the basic concept is put the ants in the pants. Simple, huh? They love it. Transfering stuff from one bowl to the other. These kids are easily entertained. Sweet!
No more WIGGLES Ava!!!
