Mother's Day

Here are a few pictures of the kids from Mother's Day. I got the best gift this year, getting to see my kids bright and early that morning. Brian and I went on a little vacation to Mexico with our friends Amie and Josh. And we had gotten back late the night before. So we were really missing them and were so happy to see them early that Sunday Morning. Our families on both sides celebrated by having brunch together at the LongBranch. Seeing everyone was AWESOME! We love our families!

Walk outside

So it was nice out last night...Brian had a meeting so it was just the babies and I. So I thought, why not take them outside for a walk? Wear them out a little. Yeah, you know those leashes for kids? The ones I thought were inhumane, yeah, I need 3! We're walking down the sidewalk and something interests one, so guess what, they all go....Pretty soon, I am trying to get all three out of the neighbors bird feeder, they are all wet, they soon move to the neighbor's their solar lights that line their walkway to the front door! I almost step in a snickerdoole from their little dog Snickers. OMG! I start dragging two and the other runs over to the water...so I drop one and grab the other one. I was literally SWEATING as I got them in back to our front door! Then I had to go back out and pick up their riding toys. Okay, next time, it's going to be a ride in the triplet wagon (where they are buckled in!), or playing in the fenced in backyard!

Our first time CAMPING!!!

Okay, so Brian and I have wanted to get a camper for a long time...it's a family activity we both grew up with and enjoy. So, why not start that tradition with the triplets? OMG! So a few weeks ago we go camping with them at Palo. Well...the camping part was fine. They listened pretty well....But, the sleeping part...HELL!!! They cried, and cried and cried. Then they'd fall asleep...then wake up...Finally at 4:00 a.m. I was done. I said, Brian, let's load these kids up and take them HOME!!! But he talked me down. I brought one of the boys in with us (don't remember which one) and we all slept again until 7:00 a.m. Thank you Lord!

The babies are getting very good at climbing on the playground equipment. They are becoming increasingly adventurous. Scary!!!

Shopping day!

The babies and Aunt Donna helped Mommy shop for a swim suit. We did good and found one but the fun buy of the day was Aunt Donna's cool belt. It even opens a bottle of beer! (Which I have to retract, because after seeing her this week, she informs me it didn't work). I hope she still has her receipt!

Found one more use for duct tape!

On our kids!!! Yes, we have to duct tape the diapers on our kids when they take naps and go to bed for the night because they take them off! And smear...well, you get the picture. Baths, new sheets, etc.

Leaving the hotel

We came with a lot, we're leaving with a lot. Thank goodness these hotels have these little carts! The entire back of the truck will filled with all kinds of stuff for this trip: pack-n-plays, blankets, extra blankets, booster seats, clothes, clothes and more clothes, diapers, wipes, snacks, more snacks, toys, life jackets and so much more.

Hot tub in room at the Dells

Momma even took the babies into the hot tub in the room. Our room was great. It was a 2 bedroom suite with 2 queen beds and tv with dvd in the bedroom, then the bigger room had a couch, king bed, kitchen and hot tub. We set up the pack-n-plays in the extra bedroom and it was just like being at home.

Headbands

Isn't she cute in Auntie Lovey's headband???

Trip to the Dells

In early April we took the babies on their first family vacation out of state. A whopping 3 1/2 hour drive! They did so good!!! We asked Brian's parents Cris and Judy to go with too and then Auntie Lovey came too. We stayed at Atlantis where it's geared a little more towards the younger ages. It was absolutely perfect! We had a great time at the water park and going out to eat. Lovey stayed with the babies one night and us adults hit the Bob Marley place. Great music, great dancing. I have the best times with my mother-in-law out on that dance floor!

Biting

Speaking of biting...Ava still bites, quite frequently. And when she does, it Brian catches her he will bite her back. Well the other day she bit one of the boys and Brian yelled to her "No bite". Just as he said that she comes running over to daddy and sticks her arm in his mouth. She knew she was supposed to get bit. haha! (Please don't call child services!)

Don't let this sweet picture fool you....

Brian ran into the auto parts store and left me in the truck with the kids. Within 5 minutes Ava had biten both the boys and all 3 were screaming!
